❝ On May 22, 2024, NB North Energy entered into a cooperation agreement with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for a pioneering 10.2 billion € project in advanced waste incineration and clean energy technology.
Utilizing hydrothermal carbonization technology developed in Germany, this project converts waste into high-quality raw materials, generating green hydrogen and carbon products such as graphene and carbon nanotubes.
Additionally, it produces liquid organic fertilizer and organic peat as by-products that can be reused in agriculture and other recycling projects. With a contract value exceeding 10.2 billion €, this initiative will enable Jordan to become a leader in sustainable waste recycling technologies through hydrothermal carbonization. ❝
